The hotel located in the region of Geel dates back to 1950 and was founded by Rita and Tijl Jacobs. In the following decades, their hotel has grown into a 4-star hotel. The hotel was so famous that guests kept coming. Tijl died in 1980 and a year later around September 18, Rita suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. André, the son of Rita and Tijl, managed to keep the doors open until the end of 1994. But to no avail. Since the disappearance of Rita, the guests stayed away and complained that they heard loud and ghost sounds. In 1983 André had hired a janitor, because he himself was too old for the technical jobs. At the end of 1994, the concierge opened the doors for guests in a few cases. Would Rita and Tijl still haunt their hotel? Or is there something else going on?
